“Got to see a Quetzal!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed We hired a knowledgeable guide to see the park, and got to see a quetzal which we wouldn’t have seen without his scope and knowledge of where to look. We also saw an emerald toucan, a beautiful waterfall and some interesting insects and plants. On the night tour we saw a coati and some kinkajou along with tiny frogs, a tarantula in her burrow and a glow-in-the-blacklight scorpion. Again, without guides I don’t know how you would ever find these things unless you have gone often to the parks. Well worth the visit. To walk the canopy and hear the forest coming alive was incredible. . Literally ducking as Hummingbirds whizzed by and becoming ‘lost’ in the beauty of this wonderful place.
