Aventura Canopy Tour is one the best zip lines ( Canopy Tours) in Monteverde because it has the longest line almost 1 mile (1.5 Kilometers ) 12 lines (zip-lines), 2 superman cables a mega Tarzan swing, a rappel and a rope bridge.
All activities are included in the 3 hour canopy tour which departs from hotels around Santa Elena and Monteverde area.
The first 3 cables in the aventura canopy tour are very short and perfet to get familiar with the system. Here you learn how to sit and how to read guide instructions, then you move on to the longer cables and the other activities. If someone feels a little scared they can use the “taxi service” which consists of going with a guide during each cable so you do not have to do anything and just enjoy the views .
The Aventura Tarzan swing is optional and also the superman cables. You may choose to do them or not!

After much research we decided to go zip-lining at Selvatura and couldn’t be happier. We have both been zip-lining before but this is unlike anything else! there are 13 or so lines, all of which are great! One extra long line you are able to go tandem with someone which is a very cool experience. We went on a drizzly day, however I think it made it all the better! You are definelty high up in the mountains and are able to see some pretty incredible views. There are also lines that bring you right through the trees making it extra thrilling. the Superman is worth the extra money. I’m pretty afraid of heights but once I started and was secured in, I had more excitement than fear! The guys running the lines are also great! They are both professional and fun so you know you’re going to have a great time and also be safe. The walking trails through the hanging bridges are also beautiful. Bring a raincoat as more than likely you will need/want it for all or most of the adventure. Weather changes very quickly.
