The Selvatura Package can be done in half day, we usually recommend to do the hanging bridges first and then  Zip Line but that can be decided at the park.  This Selvatura Package is a great option if you have limted time in Monteverde, since you will be able to see the cloud forest from the Bridges and also from the Zip Line. Selvatura Hanging Bridges Info:

Here visitors will walk on eight different bridges with various lengths ranging between 150 feet (50 meters) up to 510 feet (170 meters) and altitudes ranging between 36 feet ( 12 meters ) up to 180 feet ( 60 meters ).

Each bridge has a width of five feet, the widest bridges in Costa Rica, and also a capacity of up to 80 people per bridge making them both the longest and strongest bridge systems in the Monteverde Cloud Forest. The Tree Top Walkways are suitable for people of all ages. The duration of the hike usually takes between 1.5 and 2 hours. Transportation departs for free from any hotel in the Monteverde area!

Selvatura Zip Line Info:

The Selvatura Zip Line Canopy Tour is the only zip line in Monteverde which is located inside the cloud forest, therefore you get the change to see the entire forest while you swing trough the tree tops. Selvatura Canopy has a total of 13 cables, the longest one is 1 kilometer ( 0.6 Miles) there is also a small tarzan swing and at the end you can also enjoy the humming bird garden for free!

After much research we decided to go zip-lining at Selvatura and couldn’t be happier. We have both been zip-lining before but this is unlike anything else! there are 13 or so lines, all of which are great! One extra long line you are able to go tandem with someone which is a very cool experience. We went on a drizzly day, however I think it made it all the better! You are definelty high up in the mountains and are able to see some pretty incredible views. There are also lines that bring you right through the trees making it extra thrilling. the Superman is worth the extra money. I’m pretty afraid of heights but once I started and was secured in, I had more excitement than fear! The guys running the lines are also great! They are both professional and fun so you know you’re going to have a great time and also be safe. The walking trails through the hanging bridges are also beautiful. Bring a raincoat as more than likely you will need/want it for all or most of the adventure. Weather changes very quickly.

“Beautiful views of the cloud rainforest”
